And there are hundreds if not thousands of people who are also Italian Americans for whom all of those characteristics are not necessarily a given -something that you've recognized. So, you're essentially shooting holes in your own theory.

And if you just spent 5 minutes glorifying the stereotypes of Italian Americans why are you now telling me that you don't go around stereotyping people while simulataneiously defending that as a way to better get to know someone's individuality? Do you even hear yourself?

I'm sorry, this is about the stupidest, lamest, weakest excuse for a position that I've heard in a good long time. I'm not trying to be an asshole here, but this is just idiotic. You've acknowledged that not all people in a given demographic fit the bill of a given stereotype but you still think it's fine to attribute those characteristics to members of that demographic anyhow - even though you've said yourself that they may or may not apply. WTF?
