Everything I’ve ever read of Elle’s is her personal experiences, supported by other people’s personal experiences as well as relevant data and science. That’s what I enjoy about it. It’s an interesting synthesis of all of that — the personal picture in the context of the larger picture.

Why are you calling out her intellect (and her sexuality) but then complaining that she’s writing things that are too much like scholarly position papers? That doesn’t make any sense.
