I can vouch for what Mona says because I read her often and have witnessed that, and this is my own experience as well. When I write measured stories about how our social system has screwed us all over and how we ought to work together to try to create something better I get 95% pushback, condescension, trolling and hate from men for my trouble. Most men are deeply addicted to patriarchy and do not want to learn to work together for a better culture. It's incredibly disheartening.
