I don't know what rock you are living under because there is plenty of outrage at the way that too many straight people treat LGBTQ folks. Even the ones who are supposed allies often throw them under the bus, and they aren't exactly sanguine about that.
You can't expect oppressed people to be super lovely to the people who persist in oppressing them, and who double down on that when you mention that you don't like it. If men don't want to be vilified, they can stop acting like assholes and/or stop turning a blind eye to other men acting like assholes. It's that simple. It's not our job to be "nice" to our abusers and it's really, really not our job to fix the problems that they caused for themselves via patriarchy.
It's not like MLK didn't indict white culture firmly and unapologetically. Sure, it got him killed but it also got nearly everything he advocated for enshrined in the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Progress leads to backlash. People who don't want equality or to give up their privilege are going to squawk. Placating them doesn't lead to anything good.
