I think the point of this is not there is no such thing as "male" and "female" brains but that they do not influence interests or aptitudes in the way that has been previously believed. Or perhaps it's that there is some ineffable quality in knowing whether you are actually a man or a woman that has nothing to do with brains - perhaps it's more spiritual? In any case, trans-identity is not a social construct.
