I'm going to offer that it is the ocean that we all swim in - an extremely misogynistic culture - and aside from whatever you might have picked up from family or others in your immediate world, the wider world is messaging you this stuff all of the time - which is why it's so common for a lot of men to feel this way. Women as a demographic haven't ever actually done anything to you - or to them. Unlike for women, where masculine culture demonstrably is at the root of a lot of harm in their lives, there is no similar dynamic. Individual women may do certain things, but it's overwhelmingly not a function of feminine social norms - and typically in direct contravention to them.
Entitled is another very good book from Kate Manne.
“As we’ve seen throughout this book, girls and women are all too frequently punished for not giving a man what he is tacitly deemed entitled to—and not just because of his own overblown sense of what he deserves, but by dint of the social structures that work to enable, foster, and sustain male privilege.”
