Patriarchy is the problem - whether that feels offensive to some people or not. It literally is the problem underlying everything else - for women and for men as well, in most cases. Until that gets addressed, other organizations are just putting bandaids on mortal wounds. Workplaces have been doing anti-harassment training and racial sensitivity training for 50 years and it's mostly had very little effect. Why? Because they aren't addressing the underlying system with is the root of these issues - patriarchy. So, if she wants to be "pick me girl" and get a bunch of male attention for criticizing people who are talking about the actual problems, that just looks kind of pitiful to me.

The fact that other countries also have problems does not have any bearing on whether or not people in this country are being harmed by the social system. Stop with the whataboutism already. It's what people who don't actually have a substantive case say to deflect from that fact.
