Riane Eisler who founded the Center for Partnership is one of the most well-respected and renowned systems scientists in the world. She didn't become an expert by pulling that stuff out of thin air, it comes from 30+ years of study of synthesis of a wide variety of relevant disciplines. If you want to see more of the "how she got to there" you'll have to read more than a 7 minute article. I recommend The Chalice and the Blade - her most seminal work, which has been translated into over 27 languages. It is filled with hundreds and hundreds of citations and references to the work of other scientists and it would give you a much more thorough understanding of where those conclusions come from.

But, the fact that you won't take the word of experts in these fields, but also won't do the research to become enough of an expert yourself so that you have standing to challenge their conclusions - is a bit of a convenient way to not have to get out from under your preconceived notions. It's a deflection. Elle has written maybe 50 or 60 articles on various aspects of this topic in 7-10 minute chunks — all filled with citations to other experts who have studied this more directly. I don't know why you are acting like that isn't a perfectly good and very accessible resource that you have right in front of you. She's got a whole tab on her publication, Inside of Elle Beau that deals with nothing but various elements of discussions of this social system, how it arose, what it's components are, etc., based on her years of study (which only has minor cross-over with the feminist definition - because it's a lot more complex and nuanced that that). And even if you wanted to explore only the feminist definition of patriarchy, there's 50 years of scholarship on that out there in the world as well. It's pretty rich to make an assertion that women are just making this shit up because you haven't bothered to actual access their foundational work on this topic. Talk about a deflection...
