The stuff that Hill did and said is literally the definition of what mainstream medical and domestic abuse services consider to be coercive control - a form of domestic abuse - something that is illegal in the UK and several US states.
"Taking control over aspects of your everyday life, such as where you can go, who you can see, what you can wear" is a standard component of every description of coercive control I've ever seen. That’s not something that healthy people in normal relationships feel the need to do. If you think that’s how to be in a relationship, I suggest you get some counseling.
