You and men like you ARE the problem nearly as much as the ones who do the things. As I said to you in another comment, the only "proof" that anyone should need of this dynamic is the fact that it every woman has experienced repeated sexual violence. If you (and most other men) weren't condoning it, turning a blind eye to it, exacerbating it with run of the mill Man Box beliefs, it wouldn't be taking place. There is NO other explanation for the fact that the CDC says 1 in 3 women will be raped - nearly all of them by somebody they know. There is no other explanation for why little girls start getting sexually harassed in public and nobody seems to care that 85% of American women have had this happen to them - as children. We don't need to debate statistics because it's all self evident by looking at the culture we live in and asking real women about their lifetime of experiences starting as young children. The phone call is coming from inside the house, sir. Maybe you should think about that.

Men are overwhelmingly victims of OTHER men. Individuals are responsible for their particular acts, but these guys aren't aliens. They are regular guys doing what their culture has taught them or allowed them to do. THAT is the point.
