You were saying that stereotyping people was actually a good thing because it helped us to better get to know people's individuality. 🤣 If you don't see the problem with that, I'm not sure that I can make you understand it, but I'll take one last stab. If you assume you know who someone is without actually bothering to determine if they fit the mold of their culture, religion, region, gender, whatever then you are an asshole. And saying that it's OK to lean into that as long as you don't cross the line is just absurdity and frankly, a cop out so that you have an excuse to not have to see anyone as an actual individual.

I'll ask you again, would you like me to draw a bunch of conclusions about you based on what I know about your gender, race, ethnicity, age, etc? Because I could absolutely do that and it wouldn't be all that flattering. Or would you prefer that I actually get to know who you are and judge you on the quality of what you personally say and do and stand for?
